Angelo Eserio and Pasang Sherpa were recently highlighted on LinkedIn by Dr. Joseph Alexander Brown for presenting their work with Dawson Group at the Thompson Rivers University (TRU) SUPER conference in Science. They also presented at the TRU Computer Science Showcase later that same day.
Their project demonstrates a clear, practical use case for AI-supported work order tracking, helping make roads across British Columbia safer by improving visibility and coordination.
Pasang and Angelo contributed significantly to the design and build of WRAP’s Work ID Management capability, delivering core functionality from the time a defect is observed on Dawson Road Maintenance roads to the time it is resolved. This includes intake, status tracking, task creation, audit history, and reporting. They also developed a replacement for the current Public Communications Record (PCR) system, enabling reports from the travelling public to be reviewed, grouped, and assessed by supervisors. This allows PCRs to be converted into actionable Work IDs, improves task assignment, and creates a clear audit trail—replacing the legacy PCR system and better aligning it with WRAP.
The impact of their contributions has been recognized across the organization, and senior leaders were quick to share their feedback on LinkedIn.
