Rain or shine, Ribfest must go on!
After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ribfest is returning, and Dawson was happy to do our part, not only participating as a “full rack” sponsor, but with a group of 13 volunteers.
Volunteers from Dawson Civil, Dawson Idealease, Dawson International Truck Centres and Dawson Group teamed up for five hours in the pouring rain and eventually, sunny skies, to help prep Riverside Park for Ribfest.
Everybody was busy! Duties included: setting up more than 1,000 chairs, nearly 100 tables, hanging banners, constructing fencing to encapsulate the Ribfest grounds, putting up tarps, hanging Dawson company banners and positioning the International plow trucks on display.
