Kamloops Ribfest is back starting tomorrow, and Dawson Group was proud to roll up our sleeves once again to support one of the city’s largest events of the year.
For the fourth year in a row, Dawson Group employees volunteered their Thursday morning to help with event setup at Riverside Park—joining other community and Rotary volunteers to get the site ready for the weekend.
Ribfest runs Friday through Sunday from 11AM to 9:30PM and regularly draws more than 80,000 visitors to the park. This free, family-friendly festival features live entertainment, vendors, refreshments, and of course, award-winning ribs from Champion Ribbers. All activities are free to enjoy, including the Family Fun Zone, which features an assortment of bouncy castles, live family entertainment, face painting, kids’ games and more!
While the food and fun are front and centre, the impact goes deeper. Ribfest is a major fundraiser hosted by Rotary Club of Kamloops Daybreak, with all proceeds going toward local programs and initiatives. We’re proud to continue supporting an event that brings the community together and gives back in a big way.
