IRL International Truck Centres sponsored a table at the BC Cancer Foundation’s 9th annual Discovery Luncheon in Kelowna yesterday. The event raised a record-setting $370,000 to help bring genomically-based solutions to the clinic and hope to families facing cancer across the BC Interior.
Rhonda Bampton, Sales Coordinator for IRL International, said the event was both a joyful and heartwarming experience.
“We were very proud to be there to support our community and participate in such a worthy and important cause”.
“We learned about the BC Cancer Foundation, heard from a cancer patient who is benefiting from genomics cancer treatment and also enjoyed the entertainment, mingled with wonderful people and ate some great food.”
